Statement of Significance

Statement of Significance

The stone sheep dip, and associated collection of rather ruinous dry stone walls, are of local historical significance because they give an indication of the pastoral history of this area which is now dominated by recent suburban development. The fact that the walls and dip are probably associated with the local pastoralist William Taylor adds significance to the site.
