Statement of Significance

Although drastically altered, this club building, formerly the ICIANZ Club, is of local significance as having once been an important recreational centre for ICI employees from the 1960s onwards. Its establishment reflected the substantial impact of the ICI firm on the social life of Deer Park, especially after the development of the large housing estate for ICI employees in the 1950s.
